Available from the superb toymaker LJN, the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons toyline was based on the popular TV series and roleplaying game from TSR. Two waves of figures hit the shops, the first twelve in '83 and the second eighteen in '84. The second wave of figures featured eight re-tooled figures from the first wave and ten new figures all having the new lever driven 'Battle-Matic' action for realistic fighting! The figures were a magnificent example of intricate toy production from the '80s.
